Cataract generally means clouding of the natural lens of the human eye. It prevents light from passing beyond the lens and focusing on the retina which leads to a dim vision.

Average hospital stay
The average hospital stay for cataract surgery is 2 to 3 days. However if the condition of the patient does not seem to recover then, the hospital stay can be extended.
